Túcume – Sicán

The archaeological complex of Túcume, also known as «Valle de las Pirámides» (Valley of the Pyramids), presents three cultures of northern Peru: Lambayeque or Sican, Chimú and Inca. 26 pyramids, a series of other buildings, plazas, canal systems, walls and mounds around «Cerro La Raya» form one of the largest archaeological sites in Peru and reflect a planned growth system and a complex social structure.
