Laguna de los Cóndores
A
burial site with over 200 mummies of the Chachapoyas culture was
discovered on a steep slope at the lake «Laguna de los Cóndores» or
«Laguna de las Momias». These mummies are now in the museum in Leymebamba.

Cóndores». Strenuous tour following a secondary Inca trail to a
beautiful crystal clear mountain lake. The mausoleum on a rock face
high above the lake.
